Jennifer Thomason is a native of Palm Beach County, having grown up in Delray Beach, Florida, and attended local schools such as S.D. Spady, St. Joseph’s, and Saint John Paul High School.

Jennifer earned her bachelor’s degree from Lenoir-Rhyne University and her master’s degree from George Washington University. Upon returning home, she began her career at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Palm Beach County, where she held various leadership roles and created an award-winning high school mentoring program. After eight years with the organization, Jennifer transitioned to leadership roles with The Boy Scouts of America, serving South Palm Beach County for three years and the Tampa area for another three years. She returned from Tampa to care for her father, who was suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, and took on a volunteer leadership role with the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.

Jennifer’s career then led her to The American Heart Association, where she focused on the Boca Raton Heart Ball. After three years, she was recruited by Trustbridge Hospice to represent the organization in South Palm Beach County for six years.

Currently, Jennifer serves as the Chief Executive Officer for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County. In 2023, she successfully guided the merger of Habitat South Palm Beach County and Habitat Palm Beach County, creating a unified affiliate that proudly serves the entire county and was recognized as Non-Profit of the Year in 2024.
Jennifer is married and has two sons. She is deeply committed to her community, having served as a Scout Leader and Faith Training teacher at St. Paul. Jennifer held leadership roles with the Alzheimer’s Association for three years and chaired the Women of Distinction Breakfast for Soroptimist International Boca Raton Deerfield. She currently holds board positions with the Delray Chamber of Commerce, In The Pines, and the FAU International Business Program Advisory Board.
